Indian Olive
Elaeocarpus floribundus
The False Olive is a medium-sized tree that can reach heights of up to 20 meters. It's characterized by its smooth, greyish bark and elliptical, glossy green leaves that are arranged alternately along its branches. During its flowering season, it produces clusters of small, white, fragrant flowers, which later develop into small, blue or purplish drupes that resemble olives. This tree is native to Southeast Asia and is often found in tropical rainforests.
